An example of such a gift is children’s book Ed and Alma Go Fishing by Leann Bell available at Xlibris.com., where Ed and Alma owned a small store at the Bell Fish Camp, Indianola, Texas where Ed and Alma go fishing.

A good children’s book helps the development of your child with language and social skills, as reading exposes the child to proper grammar and pronunciation or phrasing of words, and new vocabulary. It can also be considered as a social activity, enhancing relationships, such as when a parent reads aloud to children then discusses or shares ideas about the book

Also, it can educate a child about the world or about any subject. Children can learn about the earth, the people and the places they live in and how different and/or similar it is to the kind of surroundings the child grew up in. This leads to greater understanding and respect for differences in culture and race.

Children’s books can be fun and entertaining as they may stir the imagination and conjure up realistic or magical words where anything could be possible. It allows them to use their imagination, create their own stories and dream.

Crayon Tips

First, it helps the children in their creativity and self-expression. Doodling, scribbling and drawing shapes either by copying or from their own imagination shows their creativity. It also helps express how they feel through the color they choose. Most often, children who use warm and bright colors have a cheerful disposition while children who use dark and gloomy colors have a sad or angry disposition. In this sense, coloring also acts as a therapy as it lets children vent their feelings.

Second, it helps in color recognition. Studies have proven that children who are exposed to coloring books are able to discern and understand colors easier as they grow.

Third, it helps in building motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The challenge of drawing within the lines enhances hand-eye coordination while gripping and manipulating crayons enhances their hand motor skills. These basic motor skills  help develop other motor skills needed to perform activities that children will later encounter as they grow such as picking up objects and tying shoe laces.

Fourth, children learn faster coloring books. Since kids are visual, they discern letters, numbers and shapes through images. They recognize and learn things faster with images. And if children were given an image that is meant to educate them about certain topics, it will help them learn pick these up more quickly.

Aside from cuddling, hugging and playing with our babies, pampering is another way to express our love for them. Wanting the baby to be pampered is normal but excessive pampering could effect his or her character development.  As a manifestation of pampering, parents buy toys, teddy bears and other baby baby toys that make their baby happy.

Pamper gifts are great gifts for new babies who already have a big brother or sister. The reason being is that the baby already has the essentials such as strollers, carriers and bottles from the baby’s older sibling.

Pamper gifts are also great for helping create memories. Babies grow so fast that parents hardly notice it. Parents would wake up one day and drive their kids to school but it feels that it was only yesterday that they were changing their diapers. Pamper gifts, such as cuddly teddy bears  help parents remember their kids when they were still an adorable baby. It would keep memories from the time the baby was born up to the day they started taking their first step and beyond.

Items4Baby.com is an online store for babies that features products that are designed to pamper every baby out there. They provide premium pamper worthy gifts for babies at affordable prices.

Photo albums, books, music CDs and teddy bears are featured on their website. They come in themed sets such as Disney’s Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Sesame Street, and Baseball team like Red Sox and Mets.
